Coach Merv is a product of IIM TECH PTY LTD (ACN 693 747 009) ("IIM Tech", "we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.
In short: if you join our waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you about Coach Merv's launch and your founding-member offer. We don't sell your information, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details at any time.
1. What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Anything you choose to send us, if you email us.
- Basic technical information that our website host records automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We use it to keep the site secure and working.
We don't ask for sensitive information (such as health information) on this website. Please don't send it to us by email.
2. Why we collect it
- To add you to the Coach Merv waitlist and tell you when the app launches.
- To send you occasional updates about Coach Merv, including early access and founding-member offers.
- To reply to your enquiries.
- To run, secure and improve this website.
We won't use your information for any other purpose without your consent, unless the law requires or allows it.
3. Emails and unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@coachmerv.com and we'll remove you. We follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run Coach Merv, and only as needed:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and stores waitlist sign-ups;
- Microsoft, which provides our business email; and
- an email marketing service, once we start sending updates (we'll update this policy to name it).
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We may also disclose information if the law requires us to.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google to deliver them.
If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this policy first and explain how to opt out.
6. How we protect and keep it
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using reputable providers and limiting who can access it. We keep your information only while it's needed for the purposes above. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details, we'll delete them unless we're legally required to keep them.
7. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@coachmerv.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
8. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please email us first at info@coachmerv.com and we'll try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
9. The Coach Merv app
This policy covers this website only. Coach Merv isn't available yet. Before the app launches, we'll publish a separate privacy policy explaining how the app handles your information, including anything you share in conversations and reflections with Merv.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
